The History


Though recently closed, the ComedySportz Improv Theatre (formerly known as the Comedy Alley) was built in 2001 and served as Richmond's only improv theatre. It was also the home of ComedySportz, Richmond's longest running improv show.

In addition to ComedySportz, over the past 8 years, the CSz Improv Theatre has produced seven musical movie parodies including "The Musical Matrix," "Empire Rocks Back," and "Pop Fiction," and has been home to a number of different shows and sketch groups.
